Plastic end stoppers

I remember something being said about these on here. Where can I get the little plastic stoppers to go in the end of 1" RHS?

Probably the same place as you got the RHS!

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Try your local engineers suppliers.

I got some a while ago from Brabbin & Rudd in Bolton.

Cheers,

Colin

nut and bolt suppliers will usually sell them if they do stuff for overhead air con systems, but if not, shop fixtures usually have them.

consider welding plates over the ends instead, as many people (including me) have chosen to. there has been much discussion on the subject.

I am going to weld plates on my chassis, but this is just for the seat frame.

MNR have them listed on their site under 'trim'.
£4.50 for a box of 12.

I've just purchased some today from Plymouth Cabinet Supplies.
They cost £1 for a bag of four. (Had both 25mm sq and 20 mm sq.)
They are an 'olde world' type hardware shop (rather like the one in the famous 'letter O's' Two Ronnies sketch) and hence don't have a website etc.
Their Tel no. is 01752 663914
I realise this is nowhere near you, but should you be unsuccessful locally, they might be worth a ring to see if they are prepared to send by post.

Regards,
Andy.
