welding lessons

Hi all,

I've come to the conclusion that my mig welding could do with some improvement. Where should I go to get some tuition, and what cost/ length of time should I be looking at?

Thanks

I can think of 3 ways:

Do evening classes - takes a lot of time, but you'll probably end up a splendid welder!

One-off courses - some colleges run day courses, which is what I did in a local agricultural college (Otley, Suffolk). Enough to get started, plus a few clues about what you're supposed to be doing.

One-to-one - find a friendly and skillful welder, and ask him to give you an hour or two's help and guidance with your own welding kit.

These are in reverse order for usefulness for a Locost builder!
