material thickness rear uprights

After asking the Avon guys the same question (it is not specified in the book), I would like to know the same thing from the Indy-clan: can anyone measure the material thickness of the rear uprights for me? I would like to have a reference which I can use in my design, and frankly, the Indy seems to me a very good reference.

Thanks in advance!

It's gonna be a bit of a challenge for someone unless they cut their w/bones open!

The tube I've used is (I believe) the same as MK's and it's 1.6mm 16swg. 16swg should be strong enough as that's what the book w/bone tubes are. I hope!

Cheers,

James

I think he's talking about the uprights not the wishbones.

According to my digital adjustable spanner, the upright is made from 3mm plate.
