DETECTORS - CAMERAS ETC
May be looking to get one of these devices for showing accident blackspots etc and wondered what others thought of them.
Do they work?
Are some better than others?
Do some detect different devices than others?
Would be interested to know. Having said that, I should have had one a week and a bit ago . . . . . . but as the letter has just popped through the
door at work this morning, it's too damn late for that one now
Advice appreciated please guys
Cheers

Was passenger down to Portsmouth and back a week ago in a mates F430. He has Road Angel and was not hanging about.
The gadget really impressed me with how accurate it was, it never missed one camera. The beeps get progressively faster as you approach the trap.

Road Angel whether the classic or the new styleeeee are the dogs nadgers. I've had mine for 3 years or so and never had a NIP drop on the door
mat.
The new style Road Angel comes with built in laser detection, but I reckon if you're detecting laser they've probably already got you
anyway.

Hi,used a classic Road angel for 18 months and they are very good and I would not still have a clean licence without one.
You still need to slow down and keep your eyes open as the detector vans and police with lasers will get you with or without a camera detector.
As has been said before if it beeps for a laser you 've been caught already.
Just bought a Tom Tom one and downloaded the camera data base, its very good for the money and works well, but if you dont need the sat nav the Road
angel just beats it for camera warnings.
The good thing about the Road angel is the countdown beeper, keeps you on your toes when you can hear it but you cannot see the hidden cameras.
I travel through different unknown cities every week and if you are watching the traffic and looking for signs these really do come into their own.
I would always have some kind of camera warning in the car now!
Once I've finished a project why do I start another?

Lazers are those funny little guns that you see with the mobile police vans by the road side. Sneeky little b*****ds. atb Ray.
