towing kit car

what cars do people use to tow their kit cars here then? im having to move mine soon so am looking for a cheap transporter to fix/tart up but am wondering what to tow with?

i have a 51 plate focus 1.8 petrol and my 95 cav 2.0 16v which i love but wondered if either of these will be suitable for towing?

i have toyed with the idea of chopping in the focus for a mondy TDCi or should i get rid of the cav and find a cheap cheap pajero SWB?

so what do you tow with? so i can get some ideas of what to do

i would love a toe rag and have to drive past one daily on a fourcourt but at £32k

my budget would be either the same value as my cav £5-600 or the value of my focus £3.5k

That cav will pull it with no bother. Failing that the mondy u suggest, but get the higher powered one.

Theres some cheapish trailers on the bay of e at the minute.. Iv just converted a caravan chassis. Cost me probably 150 quid at the most.

unimog?

perhaps a bit out of the price range, but you can have a matchbox one for £2 on ebay.

i'd stick with the cav.

I used to use a cav sri to pull a 2 berth caravan. It would accelerate happily to XXXmph overtaking, quite briskly. Stick with the cav

Check the towing limits for both your current cars, as you may find you can tow with either of them.
