My kick-Ass build table
A good friend of mine in the steel industry gave me a bunch of steel I-beams, large square tube, and angle iron, so I decided to make a proper build
table. It has wheels and rolls easily. It also has levelers at all 6 legs. The main cross-beams are 6"x4" I-beams, the sides are 6x4 angle
iron, and all the smaller cross beams are t-beams. These can be moved and clamped wherever, or removed as needed.
The frame on the table is to be the sand rail of my aforementioned friend.

Now THAT'S a workshop!
Does green suit my eyes?
By the way, did you bolt it togther to prevent any distortion that would occur if you welded it up.

Yes, it's a bit of a change from the 1/2 of a two car garage I used to build the car. Decidedly more expensive too. But if you lease in an area
of town where the police fear to tread then the rates are lower! In reality, the main police station is within sight of the shop. That's a mixed
blessing. Full speed test runs up the street are not encouraged....

Very nice....
and with the addition of a bit of slate and some green baize you could pass the time while the paint dries.

The rent is around $2,000/mo and I share the cost with another gentleman. There is also a fenced security parking area out front that holds about 16
cars and some trailers. We rent part of that parking space to people with race trailers. So it's actually quite a bargain.
This is the desert, paint dries instantly and cures like powder coat.
