Maybe something else tomorrow! depends which way wind blows i guess. Colour above seems to intensify depending on angle. Knowing my luck it will be a blaend of 20 flips @ £100/l each!!

I think that the thing you need to remember is that the shape of the car itself affects how the colour appears when it's on the vehicle. AFAIK the reason modern cars like TVRs etc. look so good in pearls is the number of variable radius curves on the bodywork which we don't have on seven style motors. You might only catch the pearl on the edges of sharp corners and of course on the arches/wings - I would have said a basic metallic would look better, be more cost effective, and also be easier to match should the worst happen. Also, certain pearls require different colours of primer/undercoat - I've read about guys having to use black primer rather than the normal grey/green to show the paint at its best.
