Chassis Material And Left Side Wheel Questions

Hello guys, i' m new to the site and as i can see you are doing an excellent work. My name is Jim, i 'm from Greece and i 'm a student in Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloníki at the Department of Vehicle Technology. As a Diploma Thesis i want to make a Locost with a fellow-student of mine, so i 'm going to post very often for questions here.

So I start:
First of all we made a search for the RHS tubes in the market but we were unable to find the material 16swg, as it is being refered to the book. Does anyone knows the DIN standarization for this steel?

Second, in Greece we have left side wheels cars, we have to make any modifications to the chassis to be able to set the steering wheel? A simple mirror on the plans will be enough?

Thanks for your time and i hope i didn't got on your nerves with my bad English.

Hi, Mine will also LHD.

I used normal Fe360 25x2 mm but 25x1.5 should be oke.

You can just mirror the drawings but pay attention to your gear-box section.

I'm not building by the book. But look at http://mcsorley.net/locost/ For some details about the book.

Also look at the photo-archives

grtz and good building!

Please feel free to correct my bad English, i'm still learning. Your Dutch is awfull! :-)
