Wheelbase track ratio, where do you measure it ?

Hi,

Searching through the archives wheelbase track ratio in the ideal world is 1:162, but where do you measure the distance across the car, centreline of wheel or outside edge of the tyre ?

My mind is telling me as the tyre is soft you would measure to middle of the tyre.

What do you recon ?

Cheers Mark
