Paint Floor ?
Out of interest (and because I'm at that stage) does anyone bother to paint the underside of the floor ( the side that faces the ground
)
It doesn't seem right to leave it as bare ally.

Depends if you want it to rust...?
This is personal advise or personal opinion.
Constructive comments gratefully recieved, picking is left for noses.

If you've got an ally floor then leave it as it is - no one can see it and the paint wouldn't last very long anyway.
If you've got a steel floor then I'd paint it and then add some car body underseal to protect it.

So did mine but it's falling off!! Thinking about stripping the car , shotblasting the chassis and getting it done properly

My chassis is powder coated - or used to be anyway. A few speed bumps have made their mark
I find that as long as the alloy is cleaned occasionally (with a pressure washer) then corrosion is minimalised and can even seal the surface.
Cheers,
Raz

Aluminium forms it's own protective oxide if it is only water that comes into contact, but road salt will also eat through Aluminium as well as
steel, so wash after a winter run!

On second thoughts, I could stencil "OTHER WAY UP" in case of accidents
