zx9 has more power and with a zx750 ecu a 500rpm higher rev limit.

ZX9R E has a better gearbox. Worth looking for if you can

You can do a similar trick with the Fireblade (using a CBR600 ECU - I have one of these still for when I had a blade engined car - if anyone wants it
please U2U!) but the ZX9 is probably still the better engine!

Have you thought of using the zzr1100 engine?
Can be had for the same budget as the blade or zx9 lump and has more power and torque.
Also very strong and great for turbocharging!

Does the zzr have the same rev range as the sports bikes or is it more of a cruiser??
