Over a pot hole, the wing bounced down and back edge dug into tyre? Catching it and ripping it round????
...maybe...
hmmmm.
Cheers,
James

Wing stay snapped off at the traditional place - at the join of the tube and the flat by the looks of things.
Made a bit of a mess of the wing.

You ran over a stupid pedestrian - but it was ok because you still had your SVA edging trim on so you didnt cut them as you ran over them with your
wheel????

Aliens tried to steal your front wing as you were driving along and then, having removed it, decided they didnt want it, so threw it along the ground?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Blimey mate, was that you I saw at about 3:15 this afternoon on Rixon Road ?. I did give you a wave, I was in the prune coloured Mondeo Taxi that went
past in the other direction. It looked SOOOO good seeing you go past.
Back luck mate, at least its only cosmetics and not personal injury.

It was down by Allen Concrete, you were heading towards bushboard.
I've read your u2u and replied.
I'm in Higham Ferrers, but, drive a taxi (out of Rushden) for my sins, so tend to get everywhere.

Welcome to an illustrious group of fellow wing-breakers!
You're not the first, and I'm SURE that you won't be the last! (but you may be the quickest...)

Wing sling
Jeez dont it make you sick, I have had that happen three times now but the second one was the scariest, the flailing bracket took out the brake
pipe.
Quite a wonderful laxative as I remember.
Regards Kipper.

You do! Better than all the pre-made ones I've ever seen. After suffering breakages on my (ST) ones in all the places imaginable, I made up
replacements from BTB (bloody thick bar): 2x single piece of bar from base plate to under the wings. Base plate was the original triangle piece.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Bad luck mate.
3000 miles in my Avon.
1000 miles in my Bitsablade.
Never had one break yet and I've done them both the same with two lengths of flat all the way from bolts to wing.
Pat...
