sierra front hub carriers

Hi chaps i'm it a bit of a dilemma, can anyone tell me how do you get round the problem of drilling out the taper on the sierra front hub to take the maxi ball joint, also any idear where i can get a new set of rear sierra driveshaft gaiter's (not universial part or split type) proper one's cheers any idear Regards BILL

Darren at GTS Tuning would probably do this for you. He's between Ramsgate and Canterbury.

Best would be to arrange to take them down and have them done while you wait

don't know about the hubs but you can still get CV gaiters from Ford.

Darren at GTS is in LongField, so its actually only 5 mins down the road from you.

best go there in person.

His workshop is behind a car showroom, opposite the petrol station on the high street.

just beware with the CV kits as there are two sizesdepending on your driveshaft type.
both are available from Ford dealers

Drive shafts Type A – F reg 2.0 SOHC

Rubber gaiter repair kits
1058427 £9.90ea Quicks Ford
Inc. ‘O’ ring, rubber boots,
metal cover & grease

this information is for the push in type of drive shaft, hope this is of help.
