bottom picture, none the rest are braced and would most likely either bend or just rip off leading to a very sore head

some of those cars look like tarts handbags oh and don't copy the top yellow cars filler caps that's dumb, if the car flips and the cap leaks (as many do) it will pour fuel all over the occupants heads.

none of the above have proper backstays. they should run down to the back corners of the chassis and into a proper structural triangulated section. that or forward into the passenger footwell.

i personally really like my full cage.

Uh oh - I think that's team Hellfire crossing you off the Christmas Card list....

Also I don't agree with your statement about caps leaking or your trigonometry - How will fuel pour "all over the occupants heads" (!) ?

Seabass, I think he was referring to the other yellow car. I can imagine that you'd spill fuel even when filling up!

If I was doing this again, I'd be looking at a full cage. I was doing "70" on a blat the other day, looking out across the moors, and a 400ft drop off. You suddenly feel quite exposed up on the tops with just a decorative hoop!

Mike

Hi just remember that if you are ever thinking of doing anything with the MSA. Then it must comply with the blue books drawing in 45mm. Or if below 45mm then it must be fully msa/fia certificated regardless for use under msa regulations. And if over 2.0l then full cage is mandatory

HTH cheers Matt
