For small drills I'd be trying.
Model shops, proper tool shops/engineering suppliers, ebay/the internet.

For odd small sizes I'd try electronics suppliers (Maplins etc) for PCB drills.

I have always found Cromwell tools good for these specialised items and not bad prices.

Tracy Tools are a bit better - £3 for a small package. It's worth getting a list together to spread out the postage a bit!
They're also VERY quick at sending stuff out - a quality firm.

Cromwell tools also have a branch at the team valley
http://www.cromwell.co.uk/branch?branch_id=10
There is also an engineeering supplier in Consett who could probably help called Bescol, but that may be out of your way.

Your best bet with cromwell is to find an engineers or similar near to you. they prob have an account with cromwell and thus get a van visit every
week or so.
I do this, and order my stuff from cromwell on credit card and get them to drop it at a company nearby where they deliver anyway.
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
retro car restoration and tuning

Try ArcEuroTrade - best kept secret for these small items.
http://www.arceurotrade.co.uk/default.aspx
Look in cutting tools, twist drills, tin coated and you will find a pack of 5 is £1.25 and postage is £1.75. They are normally very quick as well
although next weekend they are at a big show in Harrogate so get in quick this week.
No connection with them other than as a very satisfied customer.

when i asked this question a few years back (for the same purpose, drilling jets!) i got pointed to BBN in bradford. I did see a very nice box of
drill bits at rufforth, something like 60 bits from 0.1 to 6.0 for quite a cheap amount. Looked well sexy!![](/images//smilies/bigsmile.gif)
