chassis sections 'H'
Just managed to tack weld the first 10 pieces of standard chassis and thinking about the two 'H' chassis sections that form the tunnel on
chassis section 'C', going to hang my 2 litre pinto in position to sort out the position, how far either side of the middle of
'C' has any one put their's for 2 litre pinto or how close to the gearbox bell housing can I risk going without it touching when
running and keep the area for the peddles as large as possible. Any photo's ?

If you use book dimensions, you will be ok, but you could increase the size of the passenger footwell if you feel the need

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

..and don't put the engine bearers in until you know where they should go! (unlike me!)

Is it possible to sit the engine and gearbox in place?
If you can you'll see roughly where they have to go...
Cock off or cock on. You choose.
