CAD Chassis

Some more work on it tonight, did the rear section which was a bit more challenging as this is the first time ive used the program and its different from the other programs ive used in the past.

What sofware did you use?

I use Autocad (albeit to design houses not cars) and was thinking of dabling in drawing up a chassis, (mainly for fun rather than the build)

That is just using Autodesk 3ds Max 8, its not the most accurate but does nice rendering and is great for bodywork etc.

Im tempted to draw up the plans in 2d on autocad then import them to sketchup as thats ultra easy to use.

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

That's probably a Haynes Roadster, I think.
