Changing i Pod batteries
Any tips?,daughter's battery has died and she has prudently nipped out and bought a replacement, nice to see such faith
Reading the instructions it all seems clear but there could be a trick!
Anyone got any tips other than being very careful?
cheers
Mike

I did mine and two other peoples(all series4 ipods) - I used 2 stanley knife blades to slip between the joint and carefully levered away. Work round
gradually or you may put a kink in the case.

Load of links if you google "change ipod battery"
i.e.
http://lifehacker.com/software/ipod/how-to-replace-your-ipods-battery-236138.php
Did mine a while back, I used a thin plastic guitar pick to open the clips

Cheers job done, new battery fully charged.
The video was useful, also little plastic tools that came with battery, presume the big warnings are so people can't complain if they do mess up
