Buying 150 padlocks with 1 key for all?

As in the title really...

Does anyone know if its possible to get 150 identical padlocks that take the same key?

And if so, where on earth you can find them?!?!?

It should be. I wouldn't know where from though. I know a lot of sites owned by a certain utility provider had padlocks that were opened with the same key nationwide.

That is far to obvious....

We need to secure 150 new computers.....so need 150 small padlocks with one key....

Yep its no problem, check your local yellow pages under Architectural ironmongers, Laidlaws have branches around the country, www.laidlaw.net
you could also search under locksmiths.
You really want the type of place that supply's the trade, wander into your local Shopfitters or small joinery company and ask them who they deal with for locks. HTH

Paul

edited to add, you could get them keyed to differ with one master to open them all.

And swap the self tappers for security screws while you're at it

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I useda company called top-tec in a previous job where I bought a load of cages (had them built to my spec to order) and they supplied a load of suited padlocks with the same key to operate them all.
