Any TIG experts out there
Hi guys
I have recently got in to welding and am having a problem with TIG. When welding the flame is too bright and I cant see it welding. I am managing to
get neat welds but its a guessing game where to actually weld. I have tried different masks and they are all the same. I am using argon and the
tungston has a red end.
Any ideas?

Hi What lens are you using in your mask?
If a tinted lens, what number (as i recall higher the number the darker the tint).
Most automatic lenses have an adjuster to vary the tint, again have you tried adjusting?
Hope this helps

Have you stored your hat in the dark?
If so your solar powered battery could be flat. (Mine does that)
Stand it facing the sun for a few hours and try it again.

anot her thing to try is your lens shield clean sometimes if your shield is coted in crap the solar panel cant do its work. but sounds like youe
battery is dead to me.
the battery changes it mask from light to dark and the solar keeps it dark,
try changing your battery

It stands for, Tungsten Ain't got no Gas.
Not the best way to weld, but it is Locost.
