I almost bought a Gemini kit before starting the locost. Couldn't quite make up my mind if it looked classic and awesome or just plain wrong.
Its something to do with the proportions at the front. From other angles it looks brilliant, shades of an old jag.
When you get it finished (!) or at least the body on, post some pics.
Cheers

I know what you mean. I think the front wheel arches look too high, it's as if the front of the car has been jacked up, and the arches
don't flow into the body.

Looking good. See you using what looks like a phase three Zetec. How is the sump looking for clearance? I've had to shorten the steel pan on the
Locost install and I've just done the same on my TVR install... JC

To be honest I find that Geminis look better in the flesh than in photos but it is a genuine 1950s sports racer bodyshell (Falcon Competition) which
set it above a Stylus or a Fury for me as I want something that looks like a genuine vintage sports racer at the end of the build.
As to the zetec - no, there isn't really enough clearance with the standard sump. As it's sat in the picture there is about 3"
clearance but the engine needs dropping an inch or so. I want a proper baffled jobby anyway so loosing the standard sump isn't a big deal.

Oh good lord no! There's authentic looking and there's a complete pain in the a*se and wire wheels definitely come into the second
category!
No, a nice set of these will probably be doing the job
