Steel ordered!

Thanks to those who answer my questions in other threads. The steel is now ordered and will arrive with me tomorrow. I needed some for practice, some some for jigs I need to make, and a healthy chucnk for the "oh, I think I made a mess of that...", but I ended up getting 48m of 25x25x15 ERW and 12m of 25x25x3 angle.

£100 delivered + vat. I thought it would have been more than that.

Is it wrong for me to be this excited about a pile of metal??

Not wrong in the slightest

I have to ask (not having seen your chasis design) what the 12m of 25x25x3 angle is for?

Nothng for the chassis, but it's really usefull for making jigs, and particularly bolting them down to the platform.

It's also just useful stuff to have kicking around, and as I was making a big order, I chucked that on it.
