Looking to braze stainless(exhaust) any tips?
Wrong forum, but I figured some of the pro-welders hang out here. I tried oxy-ace, but that seems very hard, so I guess I'll braze it what type
of rod can I use? probably flux coated. Any tips? Thanks

Flux coated nickel bronze rods would be best but any coated rod will do the job.Take into account that joints near the head may get veryhot during use
but i wouldnt epect them to be hot enough to melt a brazed joint unless you are using a turbo.
I made my exhaust from 16g stainless tube and welded it using 1.5mm stainless arc rods, i was doing it at home and planned on taking it to work to
finish with a tig but it worked out successful without .
