crush washers - alternatives
I need some 6.5mm crush washers for my Honda NC30 (VFR400R)
The microfiche says
6.5mm sealing washers
90463-ML7-000
Honda says £2.00 each please
£2.00 for a single washer !!!!!, does anyone have any suggestions for a cheaper alternative. I did think that 1/4 BSP gas fitting crush washers may do
the job (for coolant drain bolts in block and water pump). Local bike shop just said "that's what things cost these days sir"

Copper crash washers. Renault used to use it for the sump bolt £0.30 each.

Or anneal and reuse them (provided they haven't already been used many times before): -
