Who can make something like this...

A 1.5" tube with two neat bends in it. Any Scottish guys know someone with a decent bender near Edinburgh / Central Belt. I have already have the seamless material. Failing that any other recommendations for someone prepared to make a small piece like this?

Thanks
James

James,

If you can make it down to Newcastle the guys at Advanced Automotive Systems down here have a part CNC mandrel bender and would do that for you in no time.

They are on 0191 267 3718, ask for Stuart or Alistair

I'll ask Graham Rotorman Millar for suggestions on this one.
He'll know.

Although I could do it, it would be a bit impractical, however you may be asked a couple of questions...

1- Is the centreline radius critical...I'm not sure that 5" (127mm) is a common size I think 4.5" and 6" are more common (could be wrong)
2- How critical is the 200 dim (allowing for a possibe rad change)
3- I am guessing the angle is a reference dim.? rather than important

Wow - that sounds good! I'd actually prefer to do it myself in that sad kind of way... I'll send you a U2U.

John - It wouldn't hurt to find out from Graham if he knows of anywhere.

Alan B - I was expecting such questions and to answere them the "hard points" in my mind are the 530 and the 108 height. Everything else is flexible within reason. The angle was included in case anyone complained and as such is over dimensioned.

Chris - ProE Wildfire 4 "Schools Edition" and ace it is too.
