Blimey - that's posh!!
I've just been given permission to take a day's holiday from next years allocation to test too.
Just need to clear it with the chief mechanic now!
very nice of them to put such a show on for my first venture out in RGB
HI
AH so it's the luck of the Irish that's brought the TV coverage. It will be good to see you out in the RGB.
Cheers Matt
Well done Mark!
What are you running?
I'll come and say hello!
TV, wow, exciting!!!
Fingers crossed that my engine doesn't decide to let go on the Revett like last year...
I think its time for a pointy special spin at Russells (much like I do every time at Snetterton) to guarantee a mention on the T.V.
Must fly Dhhaaalings people to see, costume to prepare, Make up to buy. equity card application form to fill in.

Hi
Get yourself booked into the Bikesport race. The club have opened this race up to allow the RGB guys in. The race is before the RGB race so will give
you extra track time Etc. Price is quite cheap £110 from memory.

Hi
28 Min for what was a 3-4 car grid. Wonder why they did not open it up as an All Comers race rather than just an RGB invite. Would have guaranteed a
full entry then. I am sure robin has his reasons though.
Cheers Matt
yep - am thinking of doing it alright.. the qual session woudl at least give me an idea where the track goes - ahead of the RGB Qual.
I'm not that keen on 28 min races anyway - never mind with cars that will be lapping over 10s a lap quicker.. but i guess its track time - If
there are a fair few B&C guys from RGB i will maybe give it a go for the craic

with how i went last time i am gonna b on tv with how much i spun
I am so green with envy, being on the tv racing is pretty much at the top of my "things to do before I die" list. Even Louise, who's
confined to a hospital bed until she gives birth to our first child, said I have to try and get a late entry!
Guess what happened the day before I found out about the TV coverage.... I had scafolding put up on my house that completely covered the garage door
and blocked the acccess down the side of my house.
NUTS!
Please Please make it work so we can have the coverage for next year.
Good luck to you all, I'll see you next year.

Hi Matt
Oops! - Your link above to the RGB results links to the locost results!
Fantastic locost race, once again close clean racing. All played up to the cameras well.
Congratulations Blackie on a fantastic race win. A class run again to second from Tom Coller (One to watch for 2010). Excellent drive from Scott
Mittel for 3rd place to keep the title alive to the last race. Massive congratulations to Dave Bartholomew wearing his sensible head to take 6th place
and the championship for a second year.
Thanks to all the locosters for making it, once again, a fantastic championship and a brilliant season. Sorry I couldn't come out to play for the
last few races but I will be back in 2010.
As the 2009 season closes there is just one last thing to say.........
........ Now what do we do?
I had 5 laps of joy and had just nipped passed Vicky and Campbell when I ran into gear selection issues on the approach to Sear. I only managed
another 1/2 lap before pulling off at Coram. It wasn't the end to the season that I wanted but at least myself and the car are almost in one
piece.
I'm delighted for Blackie and it seems like a fitting end to the season for the front-runners.
Can I take this opportunity to thank all the fellow competitors that I've met and conversed with. Also Matt and Ivan at Procomp and Tony
Cherrington for his assistance on Friday and Saturday.
If I'm still in the country in March I'll be looking for a car to hire for round 1. And I'll be back in 2011, all being well, for more
of the same.
Cheers
TC
