hi there
whats the best way to attach the roll over bar to the chassis ?
is ok to use nuts and bolts if so what size is best
cheers stu
I think the two top plates are secured with 3 x M6 on each side and the two rear diagonals by a single M12 each
the 'best' way is to weld it. After that ..... the best bolts you can - so if you can fit M10 stainless then fit those, if not m8, if not
m6, if not m4 etc ......... i've no idea when the time is that you go "this is worthless" as you drop down bolt sizes.
Personally, i'll be welding mine in.
Welding is best but if not then m10. M8's at minimum.
The right bolts can be as good or better than a welding.
- But what size/number i would use i dont know.
My current 'road bar' seams to attached by three M8's
However come january when I order my RAC bar i will be seaking there advice on bolt sizes.
Daniel
