Hi John i can,t see in your photos but do you have a cover on the + terminal on your battery you need one for the sva

Looks good! Thought you were doing a burn out in that first picture - then I saw it was exhaust smoke!

Graham,
The picture 'WillThisUpload.JPG' shows the battery in the boot, with the MK-supplied cover securely mounted on top.
I'm hoping that's adequate and sufficient!
Live post is the near corner, as you see it in the pic.

See my post in the SVA section, but briefly 'a good fail' on four points:
1. Speedo misbehaving
2. No main beam (relay or wiring issue - was OK recently!)
3. Hazard switch binding in dashboard hole
4. HT leads inadequately secured

Emissions, brakes, edges, etc all OK.
