I boughht mk indy blade a year ago but have never had the speed clock work, but the rev counter does, the fellow before me had a digi push bike speedo but it doesn't work very well. i am fitting a gear indicater on it so i need it to work any ideas please

Is there a speed pickup sensor on the prop or wheels anywhere?

What year is your blade engine?

There is no pick up on the prop shaft sproket and the engine is a 919 fireblade not sure on the year.
I have a reed sensor , will that work with the clock you think??

the 919cc should have the speedo pick up
should be located next to the starter motor

yes i found it, it does have a pickup at the side of the starter motor. doesn't seem to be any place to wire it too, there is 3 bolts on it, 2 to attach it too the engine and 1 cover a screw on the top, can't find were i connect the wires to tho, help please
