Tell me - those pea sizes pebbles... where'd you get those??

lococost - 25/2/04 at 06:57 PM

Nice machine!

I could be wrong,
but I thought I read somewhere that you managed to get the original airbox under the bonnet, is this true?
Did you have to make any modifications to the airbox?

Greetz,
Lococost.

thanks guys ,,the discs are black diamond duel combo or somthing like.
yip i used the air box,i cut out a rectangle around the 4 holes then turned it around 180 degrees and plastic welded it back in ,so now the air box will fit upside down .i still had to use a scoop becouse the air box was still to high but no way as high as if fitted normaly

Ox,

very nice car indeed.... Did you have to remove the ABS ring on the rear hubs, before being able to mount them to the uprights? If so, how did you do it?!?!

j30fos - 27/2/04 at 11:16 AM

Hi Mave,

MK do this as part of there alterations to donor parts. I got the deluxe kit not sure if that makes a difference.

Mave - 27/2/04 at 04:38 PM

Ah, I should have known earlier, than I could have MK's dutch agent take my hubs with him when he collected my kit....

My kit is in Holland right now, but I have to wait another week to pick it up!
Waiting is terrible!

I'm not building an indy, but got a friend with a lathe to turn the abs teeth of the hub. its a softer material that is pressed into the hub i believe.

i have pics either in my archive or on my website.
