No Nick it was not my old Indy, wish it was,it was Chris Maries in his busa powered Indy RR,I must say for a old man,he can drive ,he was lapping Cadwell in 1m 35s and thats going some. The Z cars busa mini,is a nice bit of kit, rapid on the straights,I suspect due to lower gearing, but appears to loose out a bit on the brakes and the corners, but was still lapping at a 1m 37s,and he ended up with the class win that day,and 7th position overal, and due to Chris Maries retiring from the race.
I was informed the M3 was a x DTM touring car,big bhp and a sequential box the works, the little mini did well to keep anywhere near him

Being old isn't nessessarily a handycap Paul!

I think the mini's tyres are maybe getting a bit tired??, just looked to be slightly lacking grip in the corners and under braking. Nowt wrong with it off the start line though..
