just about to fit front arches and bend the brackets, just wondered if anyone had any tips, or found a quick and easy way, want to get the arches to
run as close to the tyre without rubbin and to look the same all the way round
cheers nik
I bolted mine on, then put a couple of pieces of wood (about 15mm thick) on top of the tyre. I then bent the brackets over the wood, to give a uniform 15mm gap. Just make sure you blow your tyre up qute a bit before you start....
nice one cheers for the tip
as above i used blocks of wood
2 on the inner rim (where the round tube and flat plate are joined)
and 2 on the top of the tyre
i worked all this out on my own without any help at all (thank you hellfire)
Cheers.
I'll be doing that tomorrow

Take care not to get the wing too close to the tyre. Mine were very close and I got gravel caught between wheel and wing which popped the gel coat
causing spidering.
Now moved the wings slightly further off the wheel and no issues since.
Mine are PU'ed on - no bolts. Not had any leave the car yet (touch wood) - other than when I did a bit of offroading due to lack of cornering
talent at a track day.
