Hello, can someone tell me where to get propshaft for bike engined mk indy. From what car it schould be taken and shortened? Or it schould be manufactured from 2 different propshafts? Thanks for Your answers.

I took a standard Ford Sierra propshaft down to MK, who shortened it for me and fitted the sliding joint / extra UJ.

I think MNR do an all new bespoke unit, but that costs a bit more.

Or Dunning and Fairbank will make a bespoke one for you if you give them the measurements.

If you could say where you are, someone may know a local supplier.

There are a few people that do it - but you're better of saying where you're from to get an informed and trusted supplier.

Dunning & Fairbank or Bailey Morris are but two...

You see I am from Lithuania (if you know this country ) So I would like to buy the right propshaft in England or I schould bring original sierra propshaft to local mechanic, he can do it for me but I have to know how to explain him what I want. So sierra propshaft is from 2 parts, longer and shorter, the longer one I think it stays original, just the shorter one should be shortened. But what about extra UJ on it? Is it manufastured or taken from other car to fit propshaft adaptor?
