stevem2727 - 18/5/09 at 07:00 PM

Hi,i have just received my v5 back from dvla for my mk indy but it says" type of vehicle" FORD is this correct.Do they base it on the doner car as its an age related plate?

Stuart_B - 18/5/09 at 07:01 PM

hmm, well mine says mk indy on my logbook.

blakep82 - 18/5/09 at 07:06 PM

ford didn't build the car, so hmm, not really correct, but i don't know if it'll make any difference.
as long as it doesn't say 'sierra' in the model...

Mine says Stylus.

Can't be correct, impossible to import into Belgium, that's for sure.

My F1-2 car had "Bickell Designs" as on my MAC.
I have the same on my Motaleira MAC so I expect the same on my V5 (next Tuesday hopefully!).

"Bond Bros" is down as our make

Fozzie - 18/5/09 at 09:39 PM

The make on the new V5 will be entered from the MAC and V55/5, so goodness knows where they got 'Ford' from!

Just out of interest, what have they put as the 'model'?
and what date did they put in as first registration...?

I know the DVLA are complete numpties 99% of the time, but I cannot understand or fathom where they would have got Ford from....
