I went from Ashford in Kent to Peterlee in Co Durham yesterday (Friday) by Public transport (Left my house at 7.45am and got to my in-laws place 300 miles up the country 8 hours and 7 minutes later) so I could collect my new toy (MK Indy) this morning (Saturday). The guys I hired to transport it and me back to Kent arrived promptly at 8.30am and we loaded up and set off.

I had the car and boxes of bits off loaded and in my garage by 2.30pm.

If you ever need transport I can, from my personal experience, recommend A1 Auto Services from Tunbridge Wells:-

Stu and Kev were top blokes and did a great job. They normally charge £1/mile for local jobs and seperately agreed prices for big jobs like mine today (600 mile round trip). Effortless journey and chatty guys who both Banger race.

Anyway I haven't stopped smiling since I got back even though there is still a lot of work to do on the car, including sorting out some wiring (a job I hate). I am off to bed now but can't wait to wake up and start again
