OK lads if possible show me yours

I've never been happy with the throttle cable set up using the floor up Indy pedal,i've had various set ups and just want to see what others have done.

I am presuming the U shape bracket where the pivot bolts is the back stop, i'm thinking this is my problem.

I will be really peeved if that part comes with the original kit and i didnt get it

the u shaped bracket, i amde to stop teh pedals coming down to far, they did not come in the kit, just bent in 2mm steel, the bolt is a m6, with a hold drilled through it with a washer, adn a nut and then the other side is a nylock, not done up tight just enough to get the nylock to grab.

In stead of the effort to make a bracket why not just put a bolt through the two holes below the pedal pivot holes looks way neater.

Throttle pedal

It's the MK pedal with the end of the Sierra pedal welded on, so that I could use the standard cable.

Big thanks for all the replies, i have made a new stop which seems to work fine now.

I am now thinking the pedal would work/react a lot better if it was a lot lighter,the original pedal weighs 180g which doesnt seem a lot but does make a difference.

I'm planning to make my own sprung pedal in the future using the same axis as on the chassis,i'll post up pics when complete. (dont hold your breath i'm not exactly quick)
