i am disabled so building my mk with hand controls and have sent my old clutch from gsxr1000 k5 to america to be converted into auto usin springs and ball bearings.

i have received it back from efm auto clutch and have come across some probelms the main one been when you fit the top of the clutch the old one went inside the basket where this one is boltin ontop, this then makes it hang over where the casing bolts on, they have supplied a spacer as it sticks further out not sure what to do, cant send it back as it will take ages cost money and they kind of did there job by makin the clutch

could the casing be milled out to make clearance?

Could you turn some of outside of the clutch

i think a small amount could be taken off the clutch but only up to the small allen key heads.

as for the casing am not sure

Looking at the piccy, it looks like you'd be able to have a new spacer machined that will still fit between the clutch assy and the coggy bit. You need to find a good machine shop with a milling machine and someone who you can talk to to tell them what you want.

i have the spacer but its about 5 mm wide if you look where the clutch is hanging over its only leaving about 1 or 2 mm would you say this is ok to stop moil leak?

I would machine the casing by hand using a dremel type tool, and then strengthen the casing by adding chemical metal or alumiweld, so that it doesnt flex when tightened up. Is this gap between the casing an oil way?

not sure if you can see from the pic but where the cog is that has its own casin and where the clutch is actually hanging over its own part of the casing. there are two seperate casings
