Currently working on getting my polo radiator fixed on my Mk Indy. I seem to have some trouble in fitting the nose cone when the radiator is in place.
Someone any pic's.
cheers,
will take some tonight for you - I have chopped the inside grp return on the nose cone and it seems to quite snug

Jep, I sure do. It looks like my rad is slightly bigger!
ive got a polo rad in the garage which is bigger than the one i now have fitted and yep it would'nt fit
Has to be an early 84 on polo rad.

Based on the info on the forum, I did get a 430mm Polo rad, very similar to the one on the pic.
But upon fitting, all corners of the rad seem to get stuck at the inside of the nosecone...
I imagine when driving, the nosecone or rad for that mater would not last very long.
I have about an inch distance between the rad and the frame. Any closer and my frame will get in the way for my in- and outgoing hoses.
Tilting it a bit won't help..
I will try to get some pic's..
Here's my Polo rad:
Rad nearside
Front without nosecone
Rad offside
Mounting has changed since these pics due to fitting an oil cooler, but position is the same.
I agree, it's quite tight, esp. the hose to the little bleed port.
John.
thanks, for the pics.
