scootz - 27/12/09 at 06:11 PM

The lad who bought the MK off me is looking to upgrade the front brakes.

Can anyone recommend a good package?

Cheers peeps!

PS - I didn't build the car, but it looked like it uses Sierra brakes... is this right?

More than likely uses Sierra calipers, so upgrading to Wilwoods or Hi Spec calipers and/or discs should be relatively easy.

I've got the wilwood setup on mine, was about £200 for the calipers, mounting kit, and solid disks

Just change the master cylinder for a Mk1 Fiesta one that will greatly reduce pedal effort no other mod is required.

Unless you want save weight, a Sierra caliper and its bracket are about 4kilos.

Yup, other M/C will do the trick, or fit a brake m/c spacer (tm) ;-)
