Just finished fitting my side panels And not really to happy with the job I PU'd along all chassis rails had already made cut outs and trial
fitted and I thought I had them fitted the best I could considering the not so perfect moulds. I riveted 4 rivets along top rail where bonnet would go
and 3 in back corner which will be under wheel arch and along the bottom chassis spacered with washers.
But now its all dried clamps off It doesn't look as good as I thought it might I must say i'm an absolute perfectionist but there seems to
be a few warps almost I had to drill out bottom rivets to relieve one and also where its stuck against the side supports in the middle almost look
sunk. Do people have same sort of things in there built cars? Or have I buggered up! Must say I dont like fibreglass anymore!

The trick is to rivet from the centre of the panel out.
The trick is to not use rivets at all. Just apply PU adhesive and use lengths of wood to clamp the side panels and ensure they are flat. Not much use
though if they're already stuck...........

hi, i only used, 5 3mm rivets, just under the wheel arche, and just pu the rest on.

Bugger it Really loosing my patience now with the build! Its not like I can rip the panels off and start again either I hope its worth it If I ever finish
Chin-up you'll not see them when driving...
