MK problem
Coopz - 2/6/10 at 02:43 PM

I'm not normally one to moan on a pubic forum as its not the way I like to do business but wanted peoples advise or to see if they have had a similar problem. MK agreed to refund me for an Item quite a lot of money I got the Item sent back up to them when I promised and know it has been signed for (13/4) Since then I have phoned countless time, they have always answered and said they will get the cheque sorted today and have even been told it was sent to then be told we will sort it.

What do people suggest I do im too far too pop in.

Sorry for the moan but had enough

Ahh ok i get you now. Personally i would try all means of contacting them. Email phone etc.. If no response, maybe find someone that is close to them to pop in? If not go yourself. All depends how far away you are.

Ed

......... if you keep on getting the "cheques in the post" response just say you want it by direct bank transfer within 14 days. Given them a reasonable deadline and a secure way of sending the money over. No real way out of that!!

special delivery or recorded delivery letter outlining your problem, give them 7 days to pay or you will start proceedings via the county court.

still reckon we should have a register on here for all suppliers, traders, sponsors etc.It can be used for situations like this to monitor efficiency, quality and good business practice.I've said it before on here, the products have come a long way in forty years but the companies are still run like they were back then, pretty poor really. To have someone wait for a refund for nearly fifty days is pathetic. How can you come to work every day for that period of time and not deal with it,hardly decent is it.

YQUSTA - 2/6/10 at 06:25 PM

Do what I did.

Tell them to get it to you within 'x' days or they can pay your fuel to pick it up.

I had to drive 3.5 hours each way but it was not for a cheque but a part. I was told the same thing as you 'it's in the post' then 'will post tomorrow' on and on.

I feel your pain.

God, this takes me back... anyone else remember the old MK posts when Martin was having a particularly rough time?
