I've been searching for a while and can't really decide which brake master cylinder i need. I've read up about using early fiesta ones, sierra ones mounted at an angle and found there are different sierra ones but what one do i need and where is the best place to get one? I didn't get one with the other donor parts so have nothing to compare.
My kit came with a bias bar pedal box, if you decide to go that way instead, your welcome to try it for size.
Fiat 124 M/C (bmc4020) mounts on correctly on vertical plate remote res, correct bore all for £17! brakes international
usual MK one is a sierra one there are a couple of variations, I had a replacement on which required me to widen the hole on the bulkhead

Sounds interesting. Do these work well with standard sierra calipers?
Is this the one? How is it plumbed in?

If you look under 'Fiat 124 excl sport', it is part number BMC4020 - £16.20 ex vat.
The brake pipes connect in the same way as any other tandem MC - split circuit to front brakes, singe circuit to rear.
You then need suitable hose to connect the two fluid inlets to a reservoir. For IVA you will need a reservoir with a level switch.

Thanks for all your help. Looks like i'll be ordering one of those.
What are the sizes of the reservoir hoses?? this may be the ideal solution
( and cost ) for me as well. So where to get hose and a reservoir??
Oh and will I still need my escort pressure valve in the rear line to keep the front to rear ratios still be the same.

Got my 124 master cylinder today. Fantastic service from brakes international, only ordered yesterday. The hose would need to be 8mm which can be bought from CBS as well as the resovoir.
