Is it freeeeee to spectate? Wander round the pits etc?
£12 entry fee
That's canned then
Well woth the entry fee if you, like I do, enjoy mixed cars racing. Both the NW saloons & sports and the NSSCC races have a real mixed bag of cars
entered.
My lad Pete's class D Civic, No 67 is racing in the two NSSCC events.
For an idea of the cars in the NW saloons, take a look at this vid from one of the cars at the back. I think most cars go past at some point, but turn
up the volume when the DTM Astra passes him (twice!)
Vrooooooommmm!

Are you camping again? ;-)
I have two free tickets
Nice to meet a few lcb bods, here's a few pics from the NW race on Sunday.
Slight hijack..
Same meeting, NSSCC races:
We didn't have a brilliant weekend with the class D Civic. Started well with Pete setting the quickest time in qualifying, but pulled in early
with a missfire. Attempted to sort it, but failed miserably.
He got a good start in the first race, but the as the missfire worsened, he dropped from 1st in class to last. Pulled out fearing he may do further
damage. First DNF this year.
We got the car home Saturday evening, decided the fuel pressure was low, fitted another regulator, upped the pressure, and hoped for the best.
Race two. Pete got an even better start, but once again the car started stuttering on corner exits. Paul Moss's Saxo caught him and he
dropped to second in class, then the Mick Starkey Fiesta reeled him in, putting him third. Not long after the Fiesta went off the boil, and Pete got
back up to a close second to a rapidly closing Pug 205 of Jason South.
A few pics, from the nsscc races. There should be some vid on youtube this week hopefully.
We had a great day out on Sunday, good to see the old Civic in action, I thought Pete did very well even with his engine problems.
Some good results again for the MK team,2nd's and 3rd's in class again,Danny even managed to get passed Chris Maries for the 1st time on
Sundays race, to finish in 2nd place in class, results are here.

Here's a couple of vids from the nsscc races. Car No 67 class D 1.6 Honda Civic.
Race one
Car was lacking top end performance, slowly dropped back then retired.
Race two, part one
Part two to follow... The car was running slightly better. We managed to restore the top end power, but it stuttered quite badly at times on corner
exits, particularly "Sunny out". Kept going and got a lucky second in class.
some good photo's again Mr D
sounds like a good weekend was had by all
