-matt - 12/9/10 at 12:47 PM

i just wan't to make sure the van im going to hire will be big enough to collect my indy R kit.

has anyone got some rough measurements of there chassis?, lenth and width are all i really need.

cheers

I dont have them, but width shouldnt be a show stopper, cos you just lie it on its side.

Excited about getting it yet?

ye width shouln't be too much problem, except its got a full roll cage, so it would still take up quite a bit of room sideways.

the lenth is my main worry.

and yes im very excited

fits fine in a luton van and they have tail lift which help get it all in.

although i did see a guy who put a chassis on his mondeo roof racks.

they aint heavy if all stripped down. but a pain in arse to transport.

i used a car trailer i borrowed for £20.

but my mate used a luton van for £50 and got the chassis engine wheels body everything in there in bits.

cheers, and yes im going to use a luton tail lift.

just need to give one of the local companies a call, as the national companies seem to charge about £150 a day
