I rang MK today and my kit is right on target to be ready which is great I got a tad confused about something mentioned regarding parts that need modifying. Something about exchanging them, as in i bring my parts and i get given other pre-modified parts? The thing is i have a brand new steering rack and hubs that i've been cleaning up/re-bearing them. So can i keep my own parts? I don't live far away at all so getting parts to MK is no problem

They modify the uprights to accept a bottom balljoint, lengthen the steering shaft and shorten the steering rack. Can't see why MK can't mod yours and let you have them back if you can give them some time. Be a pity to spend time making them pretty to get back some rusty old bits!

You may need your propshaft modding too before you have it polished and plated ;-)
