Ford Type9 identification

I have a type 9 alloy tail casing .... well I was sold it as a type 9, but the gearshift flange doesn't have the three bolt fixing which my box has. It has a plain circular collar instead.

Is it a type 9? in all other respects it looks the same.

I have looked at type 2/3/5/E etc boxes and it isn't anything like any of them. As I said it looks identical to a type 9 except the bit of the casting where the gearshift fits.

Post a photo of the gear lever attachment.
I though all Type 9's were 3 bolt, maybe a Transit Desiel derivative, I would phone BGH they will know.

Here is a pic.

It looks almost exactly like a normal type9 tailcasing. The only difference is the gearshift fitting which has no tapped flange and is smaller and about 12mm further forward
