Hill climb compliant roll bar
martyn1137 - 10/4/11 at 02:38 PM

Anyone on here hillclimb or sprint a MK Indy?

We are just getting our Indyblade chassis repaired where it had broken so the back end is all stripped out. This would be a good time to upgrade the roll bar so it will pass RAC MSA scrutineering.

Any design help would be appreciated.

Thanks lsdweb we have had a read through the Blue Book details but one issue is the lack of anything of any merit to take the rear stays to.

I was wondering what others had done.

Yeah the Blue Book isn't known for being helpful!

Standard approach on a 7 seems to be rear stays down to plates on the bottom rear of the chassis.

I'm sure somebody will post photos soon.

Actually, here's my Westfield - the photo makes it look about 7 feet tall! And the chassis isn[t quite finished!
