Tapered Hole.... Been doing a little Reading this evening and realized I have forgotten about my new front hubs, I ordered a new set of sierra ones
from Rally Design. They are fitted on the car with the Maxi balljoints and haven't had them tapered so not sure they fit too well. Don't
really want to send them off to MK due to time restraints. Is it something I can do at home In the garage? Whats needed tools/sizes etc.... Car is at
AB at the moment, but I know he will shoot me if I add anything else
Cheers Toby
Most people, me included, have used the 19mm version of this Works
very well if you use plenty of lubricant and steady hand pressure, you will need the parts on hand to
get the depth correct.
You can use an old ball joint and some grinding paste and a low speed piller drill.
put some paste on the ball and hub push the ball in to the hub and grind away!!!

If your local you can nip around and borrow mine. But there not dear to buy your own.
Use plenty of lube and keep it square. It will seem like your not getting any ware but its easy to go to far. Keep reaming a bit and checking for
depth, reaming, depth,,,,,,,,

Cheers wasa, think I'm a little far... Sounds stupid but how far do you go, till or a certain amour of thread is showing or it is sitting flush? Just by hand I take it twisting the reamer in square?
So that you can get the wingstay and nut/ washer on with a couple of threads showing should be fine.
