Hi all has anyone fitted cortina front callipers and sierra rear callipers with a balance bar and if so how do you get the balance between front and rear correct or do I need 4 pot callipers for the front any advice or ideas would be most welcome. Regards Arthur
My car has same set up. 4 pot calipers are not really required for lightweight 7 type cars. It is best to get set up on a brake testing machine but a rough way is to adjust bias until rears start to lock up under heavy braking and back off until a good balance is achieved.
Where in the car have you placed the brake bias valve? As far as IVA can I mount it in the cabin of the car?
Cheers
Hi my bias bar is part of pedal box hope this helps. regards Arthur
Hope you don't mind me saying but you may get a better response to your question in the 'running gear' section of the forum. Assuming
your vehicle is an STM Locost and not an MK................
