can someone send me a photo of there handbrake set up. i seem to be struggling for room, from the chassis to handbrake about 150mm is there any other options.

struggling for room 150 mm doesnt quire make sense.

If its an MK you need to cut the cable down and affix new nipples to the cable.the cable is p clipped to the chassis. I used electrical terminal block on my handbrake cale and soldered them to the cable, have served me well

If you look on my Blog, there is a photo of my handbrake - not an MK but might help. It is a MGF (i.e. Metro!) lever.

If it's disc brake rear end just cut one end off cable,cut cable to length then use one of these, readilly obtainable from either MK or better still your friendly AA man
